การประยุกต์ใช้ตัวแบบสินค้าคงคลังสำหรับการวางแผนการผลิต (An Application of Inventory Model for Production Planning)

Abstract

งานวิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อปรับปรุงการวางแผนการผลิตของสายการผลิตกระดาษทิชชู ซึ่งเป็นสินค้าประเภท Make-to-stock ในการวางแผนการผลิตของสายงานผลิตแบบนี้จึงมีความจำเป็นต้องตัดสินใจเรื่องระดับปริมาณสินค้าคงคลังให้เหมาะสมกับปริมาณความต้องการของลูกค้าที่กำลังจะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคต เนื่องจากปัจจุบันนี้ทางฝ่ายวางแผนการผลิตยังไม่ได้มีกลไกในการกำหนดระดับปริมาณคงคลังที่เหมาะสม

ดังนั้นในงานวิจัยนี้ได้ทำการพัฒนาวิธีการวางแผนการผลิตโดยประยุกต์ใช้ตัวแบบสินค้าคงคลังนโยบาย (r,Q) มาใช้สร้างพารามิเตอร์เพื่อช่วยในการตัดสินใจพร้อมทั้งนำเสนอวิธีการนำพารามิเตอร์ไปใช้ในการจัดตารางการผลิต ซึ่งผลจากการทดลองโดยการใช้ข้อมูลการขายจริงในช่วงเดือน เมษายน ถึง มิถุนายน 2553 พบว่ากระบวนการที่ถูกออกแบบขึ้นใหม่นี้ สามารถช่วยลดระดับการจัดเก็บสินค้าคงคลังเฉลี่ยลงได้ประมาณ 7% โดยที่จำนวนครั้งการปรับตั้งเครื่องจักรลดลง 35% และที่สำคัญสามารถลดค่าปรับกรณีสินค้าขาดส่งลงได้ 98% ซึ่งจากปัจจัยเหล่านี้ ส่งผลให้ต้นทุนทางด้านสินค้าคงคลังลดลงถึง 56% และมีระดับการให้บริการลูกค้าที่ดีขึ้น ดังนั้นจึงส่งผลให้มั่นใจว่าวิธีการที่ออกแบบขึ้นสามารถนำไปใช้ปรับปรุงการวางแผนจัดตารางการผลิตสำหรับสายการผลิตกรณีศึกษาได้

ABSTRACT

This research aims to improve the production planning of tissue paper production line that is make-to-stock system, In the production planning of this production line, it is necessary to decide on the appropriate inventory levels with customer demand is up in the future. Due to currently the production planning has not a mechanism to determine appropriate inventory levels. Therefore, this research develop the production planning by the application of the model inventory policy (r, Q) to create parameters to assist in decision making and to present how the parameters used in production scheduling.

The results from experiments using actual sales data during the April to June 2553 showed that the method was designed. Can help to reduce average inventory levels down 7%, the number of times the machine setting down 35%, penalty in case lack of product delivery dropped 98%. Which of these factors, resulting in reduced inventory costs, 56% and improve the level of customer service level. Therefore, confident that the method which is designed, can be used to improve production scheduling for case study of the production line.
